Michel van Roozendaal as president of the MacGregor business area. He will be a member of Cargotec's executive board and report to president and CEO Mika Vehviläinen. Van Roozendaal joins from Ingersoll-Rand, where he headed the Thermo King Global Marine, Rail and Bus businesses.
Meanwhile,
Leena Lie has been appointed senior vice president, communications at Cargotec Corporation as of August 1, 2015, also reporting directly Vehviläinen. She joins Cargotec from Kemira.

Daniel Biggs has scooped two top awards in a national competition. The young engineer and fourth year apprentice, who works for JCB Transmissions in Abenbury Way, won the Outstanding Performance by a Final Year Apprentice. Biggs was also named Manufacturing Student of the Year at the same awards ceremony.
JCB Transmissions MD Robert Owen praised the apprentice, saying: "We are extremely proud of everything that Daniel has achieved. He deserves the recognition for his hard work and he is a great example of how engineering can be a fantastically exciting and rewarding career."
