Cisco Equipment has opened its new Cisco JCB division at its San Angelo, TX facility.
According to Scott Sibert, president and CEO of Cisco Equipment, the decision to open Cisco JCB came from wanting to expand its product line, as well as wanting to work with JCB which has a world-class reputation for reliable, long-lasting construction equipment.
"Cisco is now positioned to offer our customers a very broad range of world-class equipment from one source with a focus on quality and innovation," Sibert adds. "We felt it was important to offer a broader range of equipment because it broadens our customer base within a product range that we are already highly trained and qualified to support. It also positions Cisco Equipment to take even better care of our existing customer base."
Sibert says the Cisco JCB division offers a number of materials handling lines, including wheel loaders, telescopic handlers, side-entry skid steer loaders and compact track loaders. It also sells heavy excavators, compaction equipment, midi and compact excavators and backhoes. Sibert tells
Forkliftaction.com News that the telescopic handlers, rough-terrain straight-mast forklifts and side-entry skid steer and compact track loaders are new offerings which broaden the range.
Cisco's JCB range of rough-terrain forklifts, includes the 930, 940 and 950 models. The JCB 930 uses a 55 kW EcoMAX engine and has a 3,000 kg lift capacity. Both the JCB 940 and 950 use a 55 kW Dieselmax engine - the JCB 940 has a lift capacity of 4,000 kg, while the JCB 950 can lift up to 4,535 kg. All three offer enhanced operator environments with all-round visibility and ergonomics.
Cisco also offers a full range of JCB Loadall telescopic handlers, as well as a number of JCB skid steer loaders and compact truck loaders. The skid steer loaders and compact truck loaders all feature a 46% average larger cab and 16% greater fuel efficiency than others on the market.
Additionally, the Cisco JCB division offers complete parts support and both shop and field service support, as well as JCB rental equipment.
Founded in 1978, Cisco Equipment offers sales, rentals and service of both construction and farm equipment, including backhoes, tractors, and skid steers. In addition to JCB Equipment, Cisco Equipment offers products from Clark Forklifts, Hyundai Construction Equipment USA, Mahindra Tractors, Link-Belt Excavators and Haybuster.
The company is headquartered in Odessa, TX, with additional locations in Lubbock and San Angelo, TX, and Artesia, NM.
Meanwhile, the tractor and construction equipment supplier Hlavinka Equipment Company also plans to offer JCB equipment through a new division, according to
EquipmentWorld.com. The East Bernard, Texas-based company will reportedly offer a full range of JCB equipment, along with service, support and rentals.
