Advanced lithium LiFT Pack battery |
Flux Power Holdings Inc reports a global consumer packaged goods company took delivery of 22 more LiFT Pack batteries for use mostly at locations in the north-east region of the US. Flux says its battery technology "outlasts and outperforms lead acid batteries at up to 75% lower cost".
The unidentified customer provided approval for its US fleet managers to order Flux's 24 v advanced lithium LiFT Pack batteries to power electric pallet jacks.
The customer evaluated Flux's full line of batteries designed for use on the Class 3 equipment after requiring forklift manufacturers Toyota Material Handling Group North America and Crown Equipment Corp to provide technical approval for the Flux packs.
Initial assessment involved Flux's 250Ahe LiFT Pack battery and subsequent evaluation was given to the 80Ahe and 135Ahe models.
Delivery of the 22 LiFT Packs took place in late 2014 to power Crown WP 3000 and Toyota 7HBW23 pallet jacks.
"We are excited that this global consumer packaged goods provider has given approval for our innovative lithium battery packs and look forward to now bringing the benefits to their nationwide operations," says Ron Dutt, chief executive of Vista-based Flux Power. "Today's technical and purchase approvals are significant milestones that build Flux's reputation, brand and market position."
