Nissan Forklift truck specialist Carrylift Group has opened an RTITB-accredited forklift driver training centre at its headquarters in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.
The company, which has over 20 years of forklift driver training experience, says the new facility is fully equipped to simulate commercial warehouse environments and provides the ideal setting for operators to learn to drive safely and operate a wide range of materials handling equipment.
Instructors provide both theory-based classroom learning and practical hands-on training, using equipment ranging from counterbalance forklifts, order pickers and pallet trucks to articulated trucks. Training is provided for both private individuals and company employees, and on-site training is also offered.
Manager John Hardy says his company has over 24 years of forklift training experience. "We have trained over 10,000 operators (and) our new training centre will enable us to continue to deliver an outstanding level of training."
