Doosan has extended its 7-Series range
Doosan Industrial Vehicle has begun production of a completely redesigned range of 1.5 and 2.5 T electric forklifts, with a host of new safety and performance features as standard.
Built at the company's production facility in South Korea, these are part of the latest 7-Series range, adding long wheelbase variants with increased battery capacity.
New standard features on the BT/BX 7-Series include finger-tip controls, an automatic electric parking brake and advanced control system protected to IP65 rating.
Redesigned masts provide enhanced visibility through the mast, with panoramic mirrors providing increased safety and all-round visibility.
The 1.5 T to 2.0 T models are now available, with the new 7-series 2.2 T to 3.5 T models going into production later this year. The large 5-series models - 4 T to 5 T machines - continue to be available.

Hyster previews Tier 4 Final Big Trucks
Greenville, NC, United States

Hyster has previewed its forthcoming Tier 4 Final engines for its 19,000 - 36,000 lb. ( 8,600 - 16,300) capacity models (H190-280HD2 and H300-360HD2 series) as well as its 36,000 lb. capacity trucks (H360-36/48HD series).
The Hyster Tier 4 Final solution features a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) for particulate matter removal and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system for nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction, as well as a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) delivery system.
Hyster claims these Tier 4 Final trucks deliver as much as 20% less fuel consumption than Tier 3 baseline trucks and offer high productivity, durability, ergonomics and serviceability while achieving environmental compliance and reducing total cost of ownership.
The new models will be available for order with first shipments expected in the autumn of 2015.
