SAFEFlex batteries can replace lead-acid batteriesDoosan Industrial Vehicle America (DIVAC) has named Green Cubes as the preferred power systems vendor to support its electric forklift product line in North America.
Green Cubes will provide its lithium SAFEFlex batteries and chargers to Doosan’s entire industrial product line, which includes 133 separate models of 82 various engine and battery configurations of internal combustion and electric-powered vehicles.
The SAFEFlex lithium-ion power systems can be dropped into equipment manufactured with lead-acid batteries and internal combustion engines (ICE).
Doosan product manager Andre Marshall says: “As the only manufacturer to offer a complete solution for the user including a charger, Green Cubes was the clear choice for our electric fleet.
“The Lithium SAFEFlex drop-in replacement batteries make upgrading from lead acid to lithium simple for our customers who rely on safe, long-lasting power.”
DIVAC has a network of 105 authorised dealers in North America who operate more than 250 sales and service locations in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
