Green Cubes Technology has announced the milestone sale of its 10,000th Lithium SAFEFlex battery.
Measured by total power shipped, the 10,000 batteries represent 297 MWh, enough to power 110,000 pallet jacks, 27,000 end riders, 12,000 reach trucks or 9,000 class one trucks.
The milestone comes as the company’s celebrates the 10th birthday of their Lithium SAFEFlex battery, which is used in forklifts and ground support equipment used in warehouse, distribution and airport environments.
Lithium SAFEFlex industrial lithium battery systems are designed as drop-in replacements for traditional Lead acid batteries.
Green Cubes chief executive officer Michael Walsh says the sales milestone was the result of the “tireless efforts of Green Cubes’ world-class team”.
Green Cubes has recently built a new 36,000 sq.ft. (3,345 sqm) manufacturing facility to produce Lithium SAFEFlex batteries and set up a new technology centre in Switzerland.
