Palfinger North America has appointed Jeff Black as its Canadian national sales manager. Black will manage all Canadian crane, forklift and Palfinger American roll-off dealers and provide additional support to key account sales in Canada. He has been with Palfinger North America since August 1995.

Systems Material Handling has appointed Mark Fanelli as regional manager of business development for the western region of the US. Fanelli will cover Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, California and Oregon.

Gehl Company has promoted Shannon K Van Dyke to vice president-finance and corporate secretary. Van Dyke joined Gehl in 2005 and was most recently corporate controller. Prior to joining the company, she served in senior accounting positions with Nordstrom Inc and Lane Bryant Inc.

Plug Power Inc has appointed Reid Hislop as vice president of marketing communications and investor relations. Hislop has over 20 years of technology marketing experience. Prior to joining Plug Power, he was vice president of global marketing at Pitney Bowes Business Insight, the business unit created after the acquisition of MapInfo by Pitney Bowes in 2007.

Plug Power has also appointed Katrina Fritz Intwala as vice president of business development and government relations. Intwala will create new business opportunities for materials handling products and expand distribution channels.
