Seun Salami
Terex - United States
Seun Salami has been appointed to the board of Terex Corporation.
Salami currently serves as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Nuveen, a global asset management firm.
Salami joined TIAA, Nuveen's parent company, in May of 2018 as corporate controller, and later served as both TIAA's chief accounting officer and principal financial officer of TIAA Real Estate Account.
Terex chairman and chief executive officer John L. Garrison Jr says: "Seun is an executive with a successful track record of leading multifunctional teams from finance and operations to deliver strong results for global organizations."
Prior to joining TIAA/Nuveen, Salami held executive positions at Jones Lang LaSalle and Deloitte.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in management and accountancy from Obafemi Awolowo University, a Master's degree in financial economics from Ohio University, and an executive management certificate from Columbia Business School.
Harun Duzgoren
Inchcape Shipping Services - United States
Harun Duzgoren has been named regional chief executive officer for the Americas at port agency and marine services company Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS).
Duzgoren has 23 years of managerial experience in the global marine services industry, most recently as chief commercial officer of Miami-based Subsea Global Solutions.
He also spent 16 years at V.Group, where he held various senior international positions and managed the group's offices in Dubai, Istanbul and Hamburg, as well as leading business development function for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Harun's qualifications include a nautical degree from the Istanbul Technical University Maritime Faculty, a Master’s of Science in marine management from Southampton Solent University in the United Kingdom and an Executive Master’s of Business Administration degree from Koc University in Istanbul.
ISS chief executive officer Philippe Maezelle says: "His extensive experience, global perspective and cross-functional leadership will further enhance our capabilities and strengthen our position in the Americas.”
Four new members
Lifting Equipment Engineers Association - United Kingdom
The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) has added four new members to its technical committee.
The new members are:
- Rob Messenger, Sales Manager Lifting and Lashing Systems at RUD Chains;
- Wan Djawad, Technical Director at Durham Lifting;
- Richard Oldknow, Consultant at YOKE Industrial Corp; and
- Craig Jenkins of Brandon Hire Station.
LEEA Technical Committee chairman Derek Buck, who is also managing director at Delmark Lifting Equipment, says: “The committee’s success and growth has resulted in an increase in proposals for new guidance documents and is supported by well attended sub-committees and working groups whom I would also like to give thanks to.
“The vital work the team carries out to develop and deliver best practice guidance is a clear benefit of LEEA membership.”
