McAvoy has many years of experience as a senior finance professional. His most recent role was with Carnival UK, where he held the position of assistant director – finance business partnering. He has broad experience of a range of business sectors which will prove invaluable to Walker as it continues to build in what is likely to be a challenging period for the global economy.

Tompkins Robotics has announced two new leaders to its executive team who will both be serving in the roles as vice president of operations and were brought on to keep pace with the company’s accelerated growth.
Wes Goode has been in the materials handling industry for 25 years and has experience in building and implementing service teams, deployment of equipment, and project implementation and execution. He has served as an executive for global materials handling integrators Vanderlande, Knapp and FKI, as well as the United States Postal Service.
Goode was responsible for budgets of hundreds of millions of dollars and leading hundreds of employees in these organisations. His experience in starting and building successful service organisations will allow for continued growth of the Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) value proposition for Tompkins Robotics customers.

Sean OFarrell will be responsible for go-to-market strategies in Retail Micro Fulfillment Centers.
Previously, OFarrell spent a decade with Dematic Corporation as global market development director, where he worked in grocery and wholesale B2B verticals to strengthen business development, and solution, product and marketing strategies.
Jaakko Eskola

Cargotec Corporation has announced the appointment of Jaakko Eskola as the new company chair. Eskola will succeed Ilkka Herlin who has chosen to step down as the chair of the board, having served in the role for 17 years. Herlin will continue as a member of the board and as the vice chair.
Eskola will chair the compensation and nomination committee.
The change will take effect immediately.
Eskola joined Cargotec’s board in March 2021 after a distinguished career in Wärtsilä and was elected as vice chair of Cargotec’s board of directors in March 2022.
He brings a wealth of industry and leadership experience across a wide range of companies that ideally equip him to help Cargotec navigate the transition into a more sustainable and profitable business that continues to generate substantial value for shareholders and customers.
