MEYER GmbH, a member of the Bolzoni Group, has appointed Uwe Killmann as its business development director.
With a solid background in the materials handling equipment industry, Uwe Killmann has more than two decades of experience in strategic and operative international business management.
Before joining MEYER, Killmann held various roles in strategic and operative international business management for KAUP. He participated in setting the business development strategy and contributed to the globalisation of the company, developing and leading the export sales organisation.
With his unique skill set, he will now support the development of the international sales strategy of the Bolzoni Group.

Walker Logistics has announced the appointment of Simon Lapham as head of operations. In this new role, Lapham will be responsible for overseeing all administrative and operational processes at Walker's multi-user storage facility in Berkshire.
Having started his career within Sainsburys' logistics and distribution network, Simon Lapham joins Walker from bathroom accessories specialist, Croydex, where he held a senior supply chain management position. He will report directly to Walker's board and his appointment is part of Walker's ongoing growth strategy.
