Walker Logistics has appointed Gill Gristwood as head of customer services to lead its rapidly growing customer services team.
Gristwood, who previously held a senior account management role within Walker, will be responsible for developing Walker's customer services department to create a best-in-class operation that will support the company's ongoing growth strategy.
In addition, Walker has further strengthened its customer service operation with the appointment of Aimee Laing as senior logistics administrator. With a background in retail and customer service, Laing will look after a sub-team within Walker's customer service department.

Seegrid has announced new senior appointments and continued expansion of its workforce.
Vice president of engineering Sean Stetson joined Seegrid from Google's Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) group in 2016. An expert in vision systems and mobile technology, Stetson served as Seegrid's director of product and then created and led the company's advanced technology team. As a newly appointed member of Seegrid's executive team, he is focused on expanding Seegrid's portfolio of safe and reliable materials handling automation solutions.
Director of marketing Elizabeth Peck joins Seegrid with more than 20 years of experience growing sophisticated sales and marketing teams. She has a depth of leadership experience within technology organisations, previously serving as the director of marketing for fivestar* and senior director of marketing operations for Deltek.
Director of product management Bobbi Jamriska joins Seegrid with more than 10 years' experience managing global product innovation, development, launch, and marketing. From her previous role with Swisslog Healthcare, Jamriska brings a strong understanding of technology products and their marketability in rapidly changing business environments.

Jungheinrich has made some changes to ensure long-term continuity of the management of the company.
Christian Erlach becomes the new board member for marketing and sales on 1 September 2018. He began his career at Jungheinrich in 2007 as the managing director of Jungheinrich Austria and has been a regional director at Jungheinrich since 2013, successively managing the South Eastern Europe, South America and South Africa regions.
As part of the targeted preparations for the planned handover of the role of chair of the board of management in 2019, the former board member for marketing and sales, Lars Brzoska, will be taking on the vacant technology seat from 1 September 2018. He has been very successful in his role as board member for marketing and sales, which he took over in 2014.
Hans-Georg Frey will stand for election to the supervisory board in 2019, following his resignation as chairman of the board of management. The current supervisory board chairman, Jürgen Peddinghaus, will resign his seat in 2019. Frey will succeed him in this position, in accordance with the wishes of shareholders.
There will be no changes to the remaining board of management seats.
