Seegrid has appointed Steven Barto as the company's chief financial officer. Barto has proven expertise in managing rapid expansion as an executive and strategic advisor to numerous high-tech growth companies. Most recently, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer of ITC Global (acquired by Panasonic Corporation).
Barto comes to Seegrid with more than 30 years of experience and has held CFO and executive positions at both privately held and public technology companies. Prior to ITC Global, Barto was senior vice president, general manager, and chief financial officer of Vocollect (acquired by Honeywell) and has also served as chief financial officer of BPL Global, Ltd.

Wicks

Matt Wicks has been elected to the Robotic Industries Association board of directors. Wicks' two-year term began following the board's January meeting.
The RIA board is comprised of members across supplier, educator and researcher, integrator and user categories. Wicks was elected for his background in systems integration and robotic applications in high-growth logistics markets, including experience with warehousing, distribution and e-commerce fulfillment operations.
Wicks, vice president, product development, manufacturing systems at Intelligrated, brings more than 20 years of engineering and robotics experience in the materials handling industry. His current focus is leading an interdisciplinary product development team at Intelligrated to expand the use of robotic technology to solve logistics challenges. Wicks is also regularly involved with sales and marketing efforts, and participates in speaking opportunities at industry events, offering a unique perspective that blends input from end users with advanced knowledge of robotic capabilities.
