Hiab, part of Cargotec, has appointed Clas Thott as vice president of marketing, responsible for Hiab's global marketing function, and as a member of the Hiab management team. Thott is experienced in international marketing and sales. He joins Hiab from Hilding Anders, where he worked as group marketing manager responsible for the group's marketing and brand strategies in Europe and Asia. He is based in Malmö, Sweden.

First Financial Corporate Services Inc has appointed Drew Braun as materials handling equipment national product specialist. Prior to joining First Financial, Braun was president at UN Forklift, where he established a North American headquarters for the China-based company. Before that, he managed and developed nearly 100 independent distributors for Komatsu in North America. He has served for seven years in the US Army, where he oversaw a staff of 250 personnel and managed maintenance for all military vehicles and weapons systems.
