The Komatsu Ltd board of directors has announced changes among directors' roles.

Masahiro Sakane will retire from the position of director and councilor and assume the position of councilor and senior adviser, and Yoshinori Komamura will retire from the position of director and assume the position of senior adviser, after the annual shareholders' meeting scheduled for late June 2013.

Tetsuji Ohashi has been appointed president and CEO, and representative director of Komatsu Ltd, effective 1 April. Ohashi joined Komatsu in 1977. He is a director and senior executive officer, supervising business planning and strategy, production and information strategy for industrial machinery.

Stellana, a global manufacturer of molded polyurethane and rubber wheels and tyres, has appointed Mark Shea as president of Stellana US Inc. Shea joined Stellana US in July 2010. As operations manager, he participated in all aspects of the company's business development activities as part of the executive management team. He has created development strategies and operational efficiencies globally. He has been in operations and senior management for over 17 years with various manufacturing firms.

Sellick Equipment Ltd has appointed Dave Bristow as eastern regional sales manager. Bristow has over 35 years of sales management experience in materials handling retail distribution and construction equipment manufacturing. He replaces Colin Sellick who has been appointed to the newly created factory position of process systems manager.
Dan Denny has been appointed product specialist. Denny has over 25 years of truck-mounted forklift product design. He will be directly involved with major fleet accounts and Sellick dealers in North America.

Egemin Automation has appointed Peter Holdcroft as sales manager at Egemin UK Ltd, Egemin's UK and Ireland sales office. Holdcroft will focus on the sales of automated guided vehicle systems, in-floor chain conveyors and automated warehouse systems. He has over 25 years of industry experience and was recently the UK managing director of another automated guided vehicle systems supplier.
