Peter Harvey MBE has been appointed the new chief executive of the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA). He succeeds David Ellison, who has retired after more than a decade of service. Harvey starts with FLTA after completing a 37-year career with the British Army.
FLTA chairman Martyn Fletcher says Peter is an "exceptional communicator, who brings with him a wealth of experience in management, planning and policy".
"He has, in David, a very tough act to follow, but I am certain Peter will play a pivotal role in the development of the FLTA and the entire forklift industry," Fletcher adds.
David Ellison has been CEO of the FLTA since 2001.
