Manitex receives USD6.2m orders

Equipment manufacturer and distributor Manitex International Inc reports receiving new orders valued at USD6.2 million for products from its CVS Ferrari srl and Badger Equipment Co subsidiaries. Deliveries are scheduled between July 2012 and June 2013.

The CVS order is a follow-on from South Africa for a fleet of new terminal tractors, previously announced on 11 April. CVS is located in Rovoleti di Cadeo, Italy.

The Badger order is for a new 50155GT 50 T. rubber-tracked crane for use by an international copper and gold mining company. This crane combines a Manitex boom and Badger upper crane structure and marks the launch of a new product.

Badger is located in Winona, Minnesota.

Bridgeview-based Manitex is publicly traded.
