Almost 300 exhibitors displayed their wares at this year's Logis-Tech Tokyo 2002 show, with the materials handling industry well represented.
The October 15 to October 19 event was held at the Makuhari Messe, a 45-minute train ride from Tokyo. It was staged by the Japan Society of Industrial Machinery Manufacturers, the Japan Industrial Vehicles Association, the Japan Pallet Association, the Japan Material Handling Association, the Japan Institute of Logistics Systems and the Japan Management Association.
Linde, Komatsu, Mitsubishi, Nichiyu, Nissan, Sumitomo, Tailift, TCM and Toyota represented the forklift industry, and Cascade and Kaup completed the materials handling showcase.
