Linde redevelops used truck centre News Story - 21 Mar 2013 ( #608 ) - Castleford, United Kingdom 1 min read Linde Material Handling has invested heavily in completely redeveloping a 4000 sqm (43,056 sqft.) used truck refurbishment centre at its Linde Jewsbury's Ltd Handling Centre. The Castleford centre, which opened last month, is part of an investment program to improve customer access to Linde-approved refurbished forklifts. It has used truck showrooms, workshops and a wide range of refurbished equipment available for next-day delivery. The facility will prepare more than 500 used trucks annually.Paul Topping of Linde Jewsbury's says the centre was opened to meet "growing demand for quality used equipment and enable customers to 'touch the metal'"."It has always been important that customers purchase used equipment from a reputable supplier but perhaps never more so as we come out of recession," Topping says. The recession meant many forklift users reduced truck maintenance to cut costs, resulting in more sub-standard used forklifts in the market, Linde Material Handling says.
