This week's news comes to you from Atlanta, Georgia where Forkliftaction News is attending the MODEX show.
It's hard to escape the irony of materials handling and logistics experts from around the world coming together at a time when the country hosting the event is working on international trade restrictions. So, we have a group of people committed to overcoming the challenges of moving things around discussing efficiency improvements while the USA is looking at making it much harder for some people to move some materials across its borders.
But it's clear from the conversations on the trade show floor that no-one wants trade wars - not least those innovative American suppliers who would like continued access to their foreign markets.
We'll include a full report on the show in next week's newsletter.
