We are currently researching a story on less-than-reputable equipment exporters who take customers' money and then fail to deliver the goods. And when you're talking about forklifts, there are obviously big sums of money involved.
There are a few lessons here. Firstly, if it seems too good to be true, then it's probably not. You get what you pay for - if you're lucky. Secondly, there's a lot to be said for buying from reputable dealers, especially when they're local.
If you've been burned in an export scam, please let us know using the contact tab above. We won't be able to get your money back, but we will be able to alert others to the dangers.
