It's not all serious business in the forklift world, and the UK Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) is organising a number of contests to show off the lighter side. Inspired by London's upcoming Olympic Games, the FLTA will be running several sporting challenges as part of its Awards for Excellence program next year. These include forklift weight lifting, high jump, sprints and even a marathon event. You can read more about all the events below and we'll continue to encourage entries in the build-up. Who knows, maybe this can become an annual event and even an international one?
