Today is World Mental Health Day, dedicated to raising awareness of mental health issues around the world.

In materials handling and logistics, there has always been a strong focus on safety, but one of the key messages of today’s campaign is that we spend a large proportion of our lives at work and our experience in the workplace is one of the factors determining our overall wellbeing.

Employers and managers who put in place workplace initiatives to promote mental health and to support employees who have mental disorders see gains not only in the health of their employees but also in their productivity at work.

So, let’s not just worry about safety – let’s also be aware of the need to create supportive work environments.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
