The automation of food processing facilities is in the news this week.

In the United States, retail giant Walmart is planning an automated milk processing facility, while in Australia a beef producer has added an automated cold storage system to its plant.

As well as the food producers, this week we have news of an electrical cable and wire maker turning to automation.

Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) celebrated the best of the best at its annual awards night.
