More than 11,000 people are expected to visit the CeMAT India trade show in New Delhi next month.

On 10-13 December, over 100 companies from 14 nations will showcase their latest products and innovations for efficient, effective supply chain management at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Complex.

"India is one of the world's biggest economies and so has enormous potential over the medium to long term," says Wolfgang Pech, the senior vice president in charge of Deutsche Messe's overseas CeMAT business. "Indian industrial companies are increasingly aligning themselves with western standards and are therefore looking for quality products and solutions to make their logistics processes more efficient."

Spokeswoman Brigitte Mahnken says the highlight of the show will be the CeMAT Application Park, which will display a complete supply chain covering "loading and unloading of truck, materials handling in warehouse, sorting of the products and routing to automated storage, transportation and shipping services".

The exhibitor line-up includes companies like Cascade, Exide, Godrej & Boyce, Hercules Hoists, Hoffmann Fördertechnik, Jungheinrich, Kaup, Kelly Material Handling and Puma Lift Trucks.

The conference program will address a range of topics such as retail supply chain logistics, warehouse design and cool chain logistics.

CeMAT INDIA is part of the WIN INDIA tradeshow cluster and will be co-located with three other industrial trade shows: MDA INDIA (power transmission and control), Industrial Automation INDIA and Surface Technology INDIA. WIN INDIA is organised jointly by Deutsche Messe and Hannover Milano Fairs India.

According to show organisers, the logistics industry is one of the most dynamic sectors of the Indian economy, growing at an estimated 15% annually.

India's new government under the prime ministership of Narendra Modi is also planning massive investment in upgrades to the country's road and rail networks and its sea ports and airports.

Words of support …

I know I can count on them. They give valuable suggestions on the campaign planning, and to publish content is as easy as abc, as they take care of the material layout and check links. This is a great support.
