Belgian forklift dealer Hermans Heftrucks has embraced World Cup fever by painting three of its forklifts in its national colours.
"We've painted three of our rental fleet forklifts in our national colours," says marketing manager Ron van der Flaas, adding that the forklifts are available to local World Cup football event organisers for free during the football championship "in exchange for some visibility".
"This way, Hermans hopes to contribute a little to the whole craze and atmosphere that most Belgians are going through right now."
When the football championships are over, the forklifts will rejoin the rental fleet.
Tracing its history back to 1962, Hermans has 45 staff members and a rental fleet of almost 700 forklifts, telehandlers and platforms.
Belgium is one of 32 countries competing in the soccer event in Russia, and is currently vying with England, Panama and Tunisia in Group G.
