The XR1055 was among Xtreme's debuts |
Xtreme Manufacturing has unveiled four new telehandler models in its range at the annual World of Concrete trade show on January 23-26, 2018 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada.
Shown as a prototype at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017, the Xtreme XR1055 is now in production at Xtreme's Henderson, Nevada manufacturing facility, and made its debut at the show. The new XR1055 has a lift capacity of up to 10,000 lb. (4,535 kg), a maximum lift height of up to 55 ft. (16.7 m), and a forward reach of up to 39 ft. (11.8 m).
Also on show was a brand new compact telehandler, the Xtreme XR630. Designed to deliver a lift capacity of up to 6,000 lb. (2,721 kg), and with a maximum lift height of 30 ft. 7 in. (9.32 m) and a forward reach of 18 ft. 5 in. (5.61 m), the XR630 is designed for an A-class carriage.
Alongside the two brand new product launches, Xtreme also showed enhancements on two of its most popular telehandlers. The Xtreme XR1045 has been updated into the XR1147, which now features an additional 1,000 lb. (453 kg) of lift capacity, totalling 11,000 lb. (4,989 kg). The XR1147 uses the same chassis as the new XR1055 for improved commonality across the product line, and comes as standard with a 74 hp high-torque Tier 4 Final engine. A 120 hp engine option is also available.
The Xtreme XR1270, which is the world's tallest fixed-boom telehandler, with 70 ft. (21.3 m) maximum lift height, has also been enhanced to lift an additional 3,000 lb. (1,360 kg), giving it a new maximum lift capacity of 15,000 lb. (6,803 kg). The carriage class has also been uprated to C-class, instead of B-class, to handle the higher-capacity loads.
All four of the new lifts are backed by Xtreme's 10 year/five year/two year warranty.
