A forklift sliced open a double-decker bus as it drove down a busy London street in a bizarre accident last week.
No fatalities were reported, although one passenger, a 38-year-old man, was taken to hospital with a knee injury, the Scotland Evening News said. The collision happened on Leith Walk on February 17.
The circumstances of the accident, which saw the forklift's tines tear a four-metre hole in the bus, were unclear, as the forklift operator claimed the machine's handbrake was applied when the collision occurred.
Police were investigating, the Evening News said.
