Riekes Equipment wins dealer award
Omaha, NE, United StatesLeif Svenson, Riekes service leader, has been announced as the winner of Superior Tire's 2020 Golden Leif Dealer Partner Award Winner. Svenson is also the inspiration for the award name.
"Field trials are a critical step in product development, as is knowledgeable and quantifiable feedback from the trial. Leif Svenson's involvement went beyond noting truck hours at different points in the trial. Leif made design enhancement suggestions backed by rock-solid common sense and data," says Bill LeMeur, executive vice president at Superior Tire. "When we considered a name for the award, we quickly transitioned from 'Golden Leaf' to 'Golden Leif' because Leif's level of interest, expertise and thoroughness went so far beyond anything we've experienced. Naming the award after him just seemed natural."
AmeraMex wins $200K order
Chico, CA, United StatesAmeraMex has received an equipment order totalling USD199,500.
The order is for a refurbished Taylor Machine XH360 forklift which will ship this week to a California-based manufacturing company.
AmeraMex CEO Lee Hamre says the sales team is busy providing proposals and signing orders. "Currently, third quarter sales orders total approximately USD3.1 million, not including a one-year equipment rental of USD108,000.
"With the uncertainty of the effect of the COVID-19 virus on our target markets, sales for our first six months were not representative of the company's internal projections. The team is confident that the second six months of 2020 will be outstanding."
Flux completes listing
Vista, CA, United StatesFlux Power Holdings has announced the closing of an underwritten public offering of 3,099,250 shares of common stock priced at USD4.00 per share, for gross proceeds of approximately USD12.4 million. This includes the full exercise of the underwriters' over-allotment option to purchase additional shares, prior to deducting the underwriting discount and offering expenses payable by Flux Power.
Flux Power intends to use the proceeds of the offering for working capital and general corporate purposes.
