Haulotte, IPAF strengthen ties
L'Horme, FranceHaulotte and IPAF have signed a partnership agreement, strengthening their relationship.
Haulotte, an international aerial work platform and telehandler manufacturer, is a historical member of the IPAF association, and its 20 sales and service subsidiaries across the world have now become full IPAF members.
The group is proud to be the first MEWP manufacturer to form a worldwide partnership.
"It's a great opportunity for Haulotte with its teams to point out how much safety and training are meaningful when offering working at height solutions," says Stéphane Hubert, CSO of Haulotte.
Tim Whiteman, CEO and managing director of IPAF, says: "We really appreciate the commitment this demonstrates to IPAF and its guiding principles and look forward to working with Haulotte to further these aims together in the future."
TVH introduces career coaching program
Olathe, KS, United StatesTVH in the Americas has created a career coaching program designed to give employees a chance to sit one-on-one with their knowledgeable talent development team to help advance their careers within the company. Employees can get expert advice on how to create an eye-catching resume, outlines of potential career paths, tips for interviewing and even education advancement opportunities.
"We created this program as part of our strategic effort to develop and retain our TVH employees," says Jennifer Mehnert, human resources director. "By offering resume review, mock interviews and career planning, we can help employees identify interesting opportunities and develop a learning plan to prepare and train them for those opportunities."
The program, launched in early September to a small pilot group, showed impressive interest, so plans are in the works to expand to all employees by the end of the year.

UCA wraps up first summit
Miami, FL, United StatesUniCarriers Americas Corporation has concluded its first Forklift Industry Summit.
Held at the InterContinental Miami Hotel, the invitation-only event brought together more than 375 industry leaders to learn about the latest in materials handling. Component and aftermarket suppliers, dealers, media and industry experts congregated for the first time to network and share information about the future of the forklift industry.
During the summit, UCA revealed new offerings for its dealer network from UniCarriers Capital and UniCarriers System Solutions. UniCarriers Capital will provide dealers with enhanced financing offerings. UniCarriers System Solutions offers UniCarriers-branded automated guided vehicles (AGVs) manufactured by Rocla, a sister company based in Europe.
