Tata Steel wins award
Troon, Scotland Tata Steel has been awarded the 2014 Continuous Improvement award by NACCO Materials Handling Group (NMHG) for its commitment to improving the quality of mast profiles delivered to NACCO plants over the last three years.
This is in recognition of the number of rejected parts being reduced by more than 97%, NMHG says.
NACCO tasked Tata Steel with improving its identification of and response to dealing with problems that might arise during the manufacturing and supply process.
Tata Steel was one of four suppliers to receive an award from NACCO, putting it in the top 1% of the forklift manufacturer's suppliers. NMHG, which is responsible for the Yale and Hyster brands, is the world's third-largest forklift manufacturer.
Clark acknowledges dealers
Lexington, KY, United StatesForklifts of Minnesota Inc in Minneapolis, Minnesota has been named the 2015 Clark Dealer of the Year. Crosby Equipment of Douglas, Georgia, was recognised as New Dealer of the Year, while Dealers of Excellence status was awarded to K-Lift Service Company Inc of Salinas, California; Lift Parts Service LLC of Wichita, Kansas; Material Handling Inc of Dalton, Georgia; and Valley Industrial Trucks Inc of Youngstown, Ohio.
The awards were presented by Clark Material Handling Company at an event at its North American headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky to honour its top-performing dealers.
Clark employees select the Dealer of the Year each year from a North American network of 79 dealers and 200 locations. The annual awards recognise the "Best of the Best" dealers of Clark's North American materials handling partners.
AUSA wins business award
Manresa, SpainAUSA has been named as one of the finalists and Ruban d'Honneur recipient in the 2014/15 European Business Awards. The rough-terrain forklift maker has been chosen as one of 10 finalists in the Import/Export category. The company will now go on to compete in the third and final round where the winner will be announced.
With 11 categories, the 110 Ruban d'Honneur recipients were chosen from 709 national champions by a panel of judges made up of European business and political leaders, academics and entrepreneurs. Now in its eighth year, The European Business Awards has engaged over 24,000 businesses from 33 European countries.
