Did this ever get resolved?

I have many SP3400 series. I had this problem and ended up having to replace the Traction Card which is mounted very top left in the motor compartment behind the distribution board.

Clean all card edge connectors with DeOxit contact cleaner. It is a miracle in a can. Used to service 42 SPs in humid warehouse. Corrosion was a real issue causing daily calls. Started using DeOxit on all connections and dropped 80% of service calls. Miracle in a can. Available at Crown dealers. Some Radio Shacks. Google it!

check all the plugs and connections at the distribution board
the plug connectors should have little segments for each wire not one large molded plug
there was a TSB for this
from memory truck would shut down and just litle orange led on display would flash
i did have an rr3000 that would throw wrench with no code
ended up being blown globe in dome light arcing
good luck
