Discussion:
Won’t start

The unit had a blown head gasket. The head gasket and timing belt were replaced. The unit is in time, it try's however will not start. The unit has a 2.4L Mitsubishi engine in it. The ignition system is comprised of a module, a coil with numerous wires running into it and the distributor. We have a spark however, it seems to be rather sporadic. The distributor has a two prong plug with nothing attached. Is that correct?
We do not have anyone that is familiar with this electronic ignition system. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a C15CL with this same system, but I have no spark from the coil. I do have power on one of the wires going to the coil with the key on. I have inspected the wires for the crank sensor and coil, and I can't see that any are broken. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the reply.
You say wiring from coil to engine?
Off of the coil we have the main coil wire to the distributor then there is a five wire plug going from the module to the coil.
