Raymond 20 R30TT:
Won't move either direction

Hello everyone. I'm working on this unit s/n 020D-90-31367. The forward and reverse contactors kick in both directions but kick out in few seconds. Codes and recycle key to activate contactors again. there is a box in the contol panel on the right side. it shows a F. code when the contactor trips. Can't find any info on this unit. Wanting to know what the code is and how to check it.

F simply means there is a fault, the most likely cause is worn or "stuck" drive motor brushes. Disconnect the battery and remove and inspect the drive motor brushes, clean the armature, and reinstall brushes ensuring they slide freely in there holders.
Hope this helps!

The Michelin Guide with its star rating system originated in France in 1900. The guide was created as a marketing tool to encourage more car travel and consequently increase the demand for tyres. It initially contained maps, tire repair instructions, and lists of restaurants, hotels, and mechanics.
