Discussion:
what motor is it?

I have a hyster s50xl, ser # c187v11322r. It has a gm 4cyl, but need to know more info on specific engine to get parts, currently looking for valve cover gasket, which has 5 bolts. Can info be determined from ser # or just visual of motor. Looked all over block but couldn't find any #'s. Thanks
P.s.- Can other info be determined from ser.# or other tags (i.e. UL tag)

Thankyou for the quick reply and info. Does the serial # tell anything else, like model year.
