dakotaalexd11,
i have some pdf diagrams that might be helpful in locating components and wiring routings, relay and fuse locations. just send me an email (in my signature) and i'll send them to you.
From the looks of the main diagram it does send the start signal from the ecu to the starter relay, then to the starter. That's only if all the inputs are set correctly when the key (ign) is turned on. Meaning park brake set, directional in neutral, seat switch (or seat belt) all set before start is enabled.
Hey man I appreciate your reply. At first I thought it would be the neutral start but I would think if it was a bad neutral start you wouldn't hear the the fuel solenoid click when you turn the ign switch to start with it being in neutral. I'm wondering if the the ECU supplies power to the starter relay. I'm some what new to this industry and the person I work for doesn't have access to OEM repair info. Tomorrow I am going to see if I have power going to the starter relay if not Im assuming it's going to be the ECU. I hate to assume that but unfortunately I don't have access to the info I need.
it probably shows a code on the dash accompanied by a coresponding indicator light related to which system is affected.
look for a blown fuse, bad starter relay or possible bad connection in the start circuit between the ignition start (keyswitch and the solenoid on the starter), bad neutral safety switch?
just a couple things to check....
