Trouble Codes

My lift is showing code 3 when i use the directional control and codes 1 & 2 when tilting the mast. Main pump is really hot. Where do I start diag.

start with a known good battery, or start by checking that battery, then move on to checking the "shorts to frame" and fix any short to the frame on any power cable that has less than 100K resistance.
