Hi there
We have this reach truck, which has an A5 card problem. The truck powers up and drives however the problem is in the steer section on the A5 card as it constantly turns. We had the card working but not correctly as when it would drive and steer, the lift would not work, or when it would lift, the drive would not work etc.
However, we ended up ordering a card from TVH, but after connecting we get error E150. So tried another card off my trade contact and we also get E150.
But the original faulty card brings in the line and works traction even though we have the steer problem.
Can anyone suggest what the problem might be?
I have tried continuity test the can bus wires from the can key connector back to the A5 card, all are ok.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Regards
Shane..I tried your card, same problem, have dropped it at Atlas, as Sean will drop it off tomorrow. Appreciated as I heard you were off sick but still went in and sorted me the card out. Thank You

TVH normally leave the error log full as well.
If you have TruckCom & the correct software package you can just refresh the card as there normally unlocked.
As Forkingabout told you, your problem is related with software package. TVH usually sell these cards without software or with inappropriate software.
Regarding your card breakdown, is not difficult to repair the cards with this fault.

Hi mate
The steer motor itself constantly turns. We know its an A5 card issue as it did this on another truck, when we had the chance to test it some time back.
This is why we decided to replace the card with a card from TVH. I actually forgot to check the software details. I will check in the morning. We supplied the truck model and serial and thought the replacement card would just plug and play :)
I will get the additional details tomorrow.
Thank You
E150 = No communication with the motor regulators on start-up
Is the software package on the replacement A5 card's the same as what was originally installed in the truck?
When the truck is started up the software package number is displayed for a few seconds on the dash.
The BT Reflex which this is ( just with Toyota stickers on ) has 3 different A5 software packages depending on age & none of them are interchangeable due to changes in electronic parts spec / wiring.
What year & month is the truck?
What is constantly turning?
The steer tacho on the dash OR the actual steer motor itself?
