Discussion:
Toyota 8FGCU25 Error Code AD-7

After replacing a damaged multi-function display we are now getting fault code AD-7. We can install the old display and the code disappears. The service manual clearly states that a "Engine and display ECU information clear" is required, nowhere in the service manual does it explain how to perform the procedure. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

For clear this error code AD_7
You should pass in to monitor panel and go to settings 5- and clear it.
In Toyota shop manual book you can see it.

hope this helps, but make sure the two black relays in the fuse box are working correctly, then you must enter into the option set mode and set options to factory ordered specifications

"Oh My God, You'll Work on anything"
Simply disconnecting the battery negative for more than 10 seconds clears any codes that are not active. If the code reappears, you have a CAN communication issue. If its only with the new board, then check the board connections.
