Discussion:
Tilting Function inoperable

Tilting Function is not operating. Mast raises and falls normally. Side shift works properly as well. Batteries are fully charged. The lift runs forward and reverse normally. Trying to diagnosis with no luck.

It probably needs to be adjusted (positioned correctly) so the pump shuts off when the lever is not being used.

I found a broken wire on the switch to the tilt lever. Repaired that break and tilt work again. However, now the pump constantly runs which is not how it functioned previously. Could the switch be faulty now? Or could it be positioned incorrectly now? Or does the pump need to run for a while to purge any air out of the system? Thanks for the quick reply!

Did you check the switch on the hydraulic control valve that turns on the pump when the tilt lever is used?
