There exist a well-known world rank of biggest lifttrucks manufacturers. Some of these companies (or industrial groups) produce both diesel/gas trucks and electric trucks, some companies produce only electric machines (counterbalanse electrictruck, indoors trucks). Yes, you are right. But my question was about biggest manufacturer of electric truck. Who is it ? May be CROWN, may be Jung. or Linde (they produce a lot of electric truck as well).
If you go to Modern Material Handling's website, they have an article on the top lift truck companies of 2006. They are as follows:
1. Toyota (Toyota & Raymond Brands)
2. Kion Group (Linde, Still & Om)
3. Jungheinrich
4. Nacco Industries (Yale/Hyster)
5. Crown
As of today, Crown is the only manufacturer of those top 5 that only produces electric lifts.
In 2005 STILL produced total 36900 trucks (electric and IC) and LINDE - 71600 trucks (source: Modern Material Handling).
still are the largest manufacturer of electric forklifts in europe so im told
