1984 KD Manitou Yard King Y1002tc tranny slipping

I really want to save this forklift. We just rebuilt the cylinders on it. Our main issue is who do we turn to when we need a rebuild on the tranny? Do we send the whole lift out?

And does anyone have any manuals for this lift?
