hydraulics

hydraulic pump suddenly starts free wheeling, waited few hours, worked normally. week later, free wheeling again when went from lift to tilt, cracked tilt hose fitting, started working again. power steer motor tees off same suction line, continued to work normally.
Would appreciate any help, driving us crazy.

Not sure what you mean by free wheeling unless you are describing the sound of the lift motor running and no Hyd. functions. If so I have had the splines striped out between the lift motor and pump. I would start with a gauge. I think I remember this unit has a quick connect for your gauge.
