Discussion:
Switches direction when controller released

I have a Easi R30TT S/N: ET-D-00-08776. Going forward or reverse, when you go to neutral the unit will start going in the opposite direction. Forward is now getting jerky at low speed. I thought directional controller, but it does it both ways. and that doesn't make sense. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I assume you checked the set screw holding the throttle shaft of the control handle?. next is the pot itself. A tab holds it in place. If loose, it will do what you describe, however, you might not pass self test on start up as the pot is out of range.
Next is the encoder belt (on top of drive motor). Check the gear wheels that drive the belt. If loose, they give false readings

The black box flight recorder was invented by Australian scientist David Warren in the mid-1950s. While initially met with indifference in Australia, his invention gained international recognition, particularly in the UK, and is now a mandatory piece of safety equipment on all commercial aircraft.
