Breaks

Need some one to explain to me if I should see the top cap of the master cylinder for the breaks (held in place by a retaining ring) move slightly inward when the break pedal is pushed. When applying the breaks it moves in a little and will leak trans fluid. It wil also leak even with the unit shut off.

What you re seeing is the top of the brake booster unit. The master cylinder is mounted under the booster unit.
