Discussion:
Continental F227 runs rough or quits when warm

Needing some help on an engine problem.

Starts great and runs for 10 to 20 minutes, then runs like crap and eventually will die. Will start again, but will barely run.

I just purchased this and it has hardly been run for the last few years. Maybe 20 hours per year. I drained the gas and put in new 100% gas.

Thanx for any and all!

Could be a ignition problem. Also could be the valves are set too tight.
