Discussion:
Intermittent Travel

Machine has intermittent travel, sometimes when you start the machine and select a direction, the accelerator pedal is dead. machine will not rev up and will not move. Checked the brake switches, replaced the throttle position sensor, ( this was worse) re-installed old sensor and it is now working but may still be intermittent.
Does the throttle potentiometer need to be calibrated??
Can this be done with out a laptop connection?

Second issue is the glow plug indicator is on but the machine is a VW propane engine, any Ideas?

Third, engine runs on after the key is turned off, it appears to run until the fuel runs out after the cutoff solenoid. Any Thoughts???

Thank you in advance for your suggestions

I used to look after some 2008 model year 392 & 394 Linde with VW LPG engines, I remember having to replace the complete gas shut off valve assembly on 1 of the trucks as it failed. When I spoke to Linde the part had been upgraded / modified due to known failure issues since my trucks had been built.

When the shut off failed the glow plug warning light stuck on.

Glow plug may just be telling you that motor takes to long to shut down. Take the lock off apart and clean it. (Take coil off and then use 17mm wrench to unscrew shaft and inside is a piston that gets gummed up, pay attention to which way piston comes out
