Discussion:
Blowing limiter fuse

We have 2 Raymond double walkies that started blowing the ANN-250 fuses. Usually it's when they get stuck in a pallet or when fully loaded going up a ramp. The problem use to be once a month, now it seems to happen weekly.
We have a 3rd machine that doesn't seem to ever blow fuses. All machines were purchased new in 2007.
any ideas?
Thanks!

How many hours on those?
Yes a bad battery will cause heat buildup, blown fuse. Are your SB connector pins soldered in? If you changed them, they must be soldered as heat will build up and fuses will blow. On any AC drive machines, the crimps on any cables need solder, or factory replacement type ones.

what does the battery read "at rest" vs what does the battery read under hydraulic stall < 3 seconds time.
10% or more drop in voltage = bad battery
