Discussion:
alarm 1 traction alarm 1 lift

HI, I am getting alarm 1 on both traction and hyd controllers. Battery voltage is fine as are fuses. I am getting my 48v pos supply to the contactor but don't seem to be getting the neg. Anybody any ideas of where i could be losing the negative or why my main contactor is not being supplied the neg. My traction controller is testing ok.

Thanks

Hi Diesel,

Is the main contactor coming in,truck will still light up the display even if this doesn't come in,obviously make sure you have 48v both sides of the contactor,or at the 2 main heavy fuses,as they're sealed you can't actually see tips,so will need to check with a meter, and have you also checked the small microswitch on the side of the emergency disconnect?

as a general rule, negative is supplied through the controller.

The word "robotics" was coined by Russian-born American science-fiction writer Isaac Asimov who first used the word in 1942 in his short story 'Runabout'. He characterised robots as helpful servants and as "a better, cleaner race."
