brakes

doin a brake job and got all hardware in correctly put all backtogether and drove for 10 mins and was fine....1hr later customer called and said the brakes were locked up and didn't go inreverse cause of the tight brakes, so went back and adjusted the star adjuster and brought them all the way in(which I did the first time also but somehow they were back out) again truck drovefine for a bit and the same problem persists so anybody got ideas??? I'm going there shortly to check the e-brake tightness

Have had this happen to me before and someone recommended using loctite on the adjuster and it worked great. I believe that Clark has had a few issues with the "master cylinder", there has been a few versions.

Yes, one way to tell if it is a fluid pressure drag is to loosen a brake pipe fitting or a bleeder screw and see if you get a squirt of fluid out and if the drag goes away.

Customers love technology- until they have to pay to fix it!
The master cylinder may be pressurizing the brake system even without pressing the brake petal.
